Ban Avoidance for Runescape

1.Don't ever ask anyone about their password, no matter it's a level 3 or level 100, if someone tells you his/her password and you try to login but it doesn't work, don't ask them again about the real one, because you can get banned for password scamming. Some people doing this for fun (I've met someone like this before and got banned), even though it's not your fault, Jagex will still ban you, the best solution is directly put this person in your ignore list.

2.If you got scammed, don't use abusive language to swear at the scammer, because people can report you for breaking rule 1 and Jagex will ban you even though they know you are overreacting. The best solution is to report the scammer via rule 2 for item scamming and due to the unbalance trade been cancelled, you won't lose over 3K.

3.Don't ever ask anyone about their personal information unless it's your relative (you don't need their information anyways)

4.Don't ever buy membership for game money from people in Runescape, first there is a big possibility that you will get scammed, second the people around you can report you either for real world item trading or encourage others to break rule or both, the best solution for this is work for sites like Triond and Gangstergreed (USA only) to gain your own money

5.Don't claim that you are a Jagex staff when you see a scammer is trying to scam you or someone else, because all the mods have either a silver or gold crown beside their name, the best solution for this is report the scammer via Item scam

6.Don't ever say that you have a level 130 main account when you are a level 50 or above, because whether you do or you don't people will report you via multiple login

7.Don't ask for a boyfriend/girlfriend in the game because people will report you for violating abusive language (although it has nothing to do with it)

8.Don't spam the chat window with unnecessary text because you will be banned for abusive language

9.Don't use autotyper to sell items or recruit people in Clan wars, because it will be so fast and people will notice it and directly report you via using third party software

10.Don't ever say something racist, if it's something that can't be filtered other people will report you via offensive language
