Welcome to Edgeville! Edgeville is a little town next to the Wilderness, between Varrock and Falador. Despite its size, Edgeville has attributes making it worth visiting. These include the most popular dungeon available to Freeplayers, some Yew trees, and a shop that sells Rune Platebodies! To get to Edgeville, you can teleport directly there with an Amulet of Glory, or use one of the two transportation methods mentioned later on in the guide.

Attractions
(1) Edgeville Bank
The Edgeville Bank is a very convenient place for stocking up on supplies before you venture into the Wilderness. Conversely, it's also a very good place to buy Wilderness supplies, such as food, weapons, and runes. Because of this, many clans meet here. Just south of the bank is a leather gloves respawn point. Just south of the bank is also a great place to train Firemaking, because of a long straight space to burn logs.
(2) Entrance to Edgeville Dungeon
The trapdoor is a secret entrance to the Edgeville Dungeon, the most popular dungeon in Freeplay. Some inhabitants of the dungeon include Hill Giants (level 28), Zombies (levels 18 and 24), and Skeletons (level 21, 22 and 25). In the members' only section of the Edgeville Dungeon, there are, among other things, the Air Obelisk and Earth Obelisk, allowing you to make Air and Earth Battlestaffs. In terms of monsters, the members' section has highly aggressive Thugs (level 10), Chaos Druids (level 13) and Black Demons (level 172). The members' only section of the Edgeville Dungeon is in the Wilderness, so be prepared for anything. In addition to monsters, there's also a good mine, which contains Adamantite, Mithril, Coal, Iron, Silver, and Clay rocks.
(3) Yew Trees
These two Yew trees are among the best to cut in Freeplay, as they are not as infested by macroers/autoers and there's a very close bank. Most times, there are legitimate high-leveled woodcutters, but relatively few macroers. You need level 60 Woodcutting to cut Yew trees. Nearby the Yew Trees, some nettles respawn. If you're wearing gloves, members can pick them for use in Nettle Tea.
(4) Evil Dave's House
Evil Dave and his mother, Doris, reside in this house. During Part 6 of the quest Recipe for Disaster, you will need to make Evil Dave’s perfect stew. Dave's house also contains a sink and range.
(5) Oziach's Shop
In the westernmost part of Edgeville, you'll find Oziach. Oziach plays a major role in the quest Dragon Slayer. Additionally, Oziach sells items that you will be able to wear after completing Dragon Slayer: Rune Platebodies and Green Dragonhide bodies!
(6) General Store
Edgeville, like all self-respecting cities, has a General Store! Like all general stores, this one sells basic items, such as tinderboxes and chisels. However, you may find a prize or two, as Player Killers sometimes sell their captured spoils here. If you climb up the ladder to the top level of the general store, you will find a range for cooking food on.
(7) The Barn
This "barn" is home to several level-2 Men and level-2 Women. Pures, as well as regular people with low combat levels, often come here to train. It’s also not a bad spot to train Prayer, as there are often bones lying around the floor.
(8) The Jail
Due to many of Edgeville's citizens getting drunk at the nearby Jolly Boar Inn, Edgeville has its very own jail. Guarding the prison are some level-21 Guards, which many Ranging pures train on from behind a door. In one corner of the jail, an Iron Mace respawns.
(9) Edgeville Canoe Station
One method of getting to Edgeville is by canoe (level 12 Woodcutting required and members' only). Edgeville has its very own canoe station, located just south of the bridge across the River Lum. If you just had a big meal and get stuck getting out of your canoe, just call Hari for help. For more on canoes, visit the Canoes Guide.
(10) Fairy Ring
Another method of getting to Edgeville is by Fairy Ring (combination: DKR), only accessible after members complete the quest A Fairy Tale Part 2: Cure a Queen. The Fairy Ring is just south of the Canoe Station, which, in turn, is just south of the bridge over the River Lum.
(11) Low-Level Wilderness
The low-level Edgeville Wilderness is a very dangerous place, as many pures hang out here. Most of the people here are around level 30, but you will find some level 60 Player Killers as well. Most, if not all of them, are pures, meaning that they can hit very hard for their level. As with any part of the Wilderness, be careful at all times! Before heading into the Edgeville Wilderness, make sure that you only have three or fewer items that you wouldn't want to lose and some food.
